It’s very much horses for courses.  Today I discovered several fast chargers, and having done a couple of long trips, have no range anxiety. My fast charger of choice has a costa coffee or KFC within the charging station plus mini supermarket. I added 16% in 14 mins, the only downside, 75p per kWh,  10 times more than Octopus Go faster, but once in a  while and for the convenience definitelyworth it. The extra 39 miles we’ll worth it, overwisewould have returned home with around 3 or 4% remaining battery. I always want an extra 30 miles. Of course I could have turned off the heater, maxed out the top speed at 60 etc, but it’s about getting from A to B as quickly and comfortably as possible and a cold cabin is not comfortable or indeed good for the boby of general health. Those of us who have Kona’s know the car is capable of long ranges and is extremely efficient.  This latest trip was a repeat of the trip I made in August. Then the range was around 330, this time around 285.
