i went to see this last Friday at my local dealer.  i would say if you were a retail customer its a steal but as a Motability customer I don’t think so.  the trophy’s AP is £1999 and the only car i think you should consider as it has the heated seats, wheel and more safety tech.  Full LED lights front and rear and the coast to coast light bar on the rear spoiler The exterior is like 3 separate cars.  aggressive front end, slightly boring side view and a futuristic rear.

inside is much better than I expected and a big improvement on the MGs of old.  seats are a bit of a let down no lumbar adjustment even on top spec trophy.  also another thing to note no grab handles either!  speakers are distinctly average no rear reading lights , trim in boot is a big area where you can see they have compromised.  for me they could have saved money not fitting alloys as the wheels then have aero covers for efficiency (the alloys look like something you bought from Halfords in 1995) that money could have then been used to tidy up the boot that looks like its missing some final bits of trim.  boot itself is small

i did not test drive it but at 200 hp and RWD its obivous they have made a copy of the ID3.  also the wheel base nearly compares also so the room in the rear is good.   Dealer said wait time at present is 3 months or 4 months if you want the bright orange although VW guy told me 20 weeks in Sept 21 and I still don’t have a build week for my ID3
