Like you Gilders I missed out on the HEV by a couple of days (stupidly procrastinating as hadn’t been able to see any colours apart from the demo white/black) and have been wondering about cancelling since, one of the reasons being the possible usual hesitancy of the dual clutch launching into busy roundabouts etc. However following what you say I have put th9is doubt to bed. The other reservation was the ride quality with the 19 inch wheels. How do you find that? I see that from 1st October Kia is offering a front wheel drive version of the MHEV which would help the economy/performance a little given the reduction in friction losses and weight (I see the AWD MHEV is only a few kilos short of the full hybrid in two wheel drive form). Anyway, too late for us.
