I have been trying to find a list of what the 12v battery drives.
I think it was Struth who told us it powers seats heat and ventilation and steering wheel heater.
I would like to know what powers iPhone when plugged into usb and playing music – is it 12v for phone and speakers.
When I am driving if I took the phone from usb and turned off music I suppose I could look for change but I would need someone to do that and take note of readings.
I understand the Kona warns when 12v battery is getting low – is it recharged or topped up from main battery when driving.
I know some have had issues with 12v battery going dead – it happened to me on my Prius Phev – many smaller journeys – 30 miles and under – didn’t need the petrol engine that charged the battery – so too many consecutive journeys less than 30 miles caused it to die and had to be replaced.
Hence my desire to understand the Kona way of changing to be ahead of the game and have some understanding of 12 volt usage and top up.
