Hi all. Charged the car today to max as the weather is meant to get colder and we are getting near the end of September and the price change – charged it using OHME app – it was 285 so quite full – started charging about 11 am so quite warm – charged at a rate close to an equivalent of 4 which you would expect given the curve towards end of battery full – it stated it had 357 range. I suspect it may well be late spring before I see these numbers again – but brilliant figures – far beyond my expectations – I looked at manufactures claimed ranges and thought 85% summer being sensible – 65% winter with the need for some heat as well as being sensibly dressed. So one happy customer
The press seem to suggest 80% of range is what drivers typically achieve, which would equate to 240 miles for the Kona, I think everyone on this forum is achieving way in excess. I have even seen a figure of 195 miles for the Kona in winter. I think we will all get far better than that, unless its an arctic one!
