Morning all – just come back from an 8 mile trip to a station and back to drop my son off.
Yesterday I had range of 342 (I had charged the car a few days ago – so not a full battery – late 90%) – the car and especially front screen was very fogged up – so needed front heated screen on for first mile – recorded 3.1 kWh and range by end was 288.
So a very clear indicator that if I was about to embark on long trip to edge of range it would definitely be worth pre conditioning the car whilst plugged in.
I left at about 5:40 am – so headlights on as well – temperature about 5c.
The heated screen was very effective – much better than any previous car – but a good indicator as to how things will be different going into autumn and winter.
