I am no expert, but your numbers don’t seem quite right. Bjorn had them higher but I will admit, I would want a bit more range if I were you.

The eC4 forum has lots of owners quoting a real world UK range of 120 miles or less in winter.

Also, I seem to get a good bit less range than most out of the Soul, my average is 3.5m/kw over the last 12,000 miles despite sticking to 60-65. Probably because I am rural and go straight onto pretty empty dual carriageways for my commute, very little (none most days) town/congested routes so there is little recuperation. Winter sees me at about 2.7m/kw.

I agree though that it’s just not feasible when I have a commute of 82 miles and often need to collect my wife the same evening directly from work, she will call as I am driving home. Her work is 16-odd miles in the other direction, making a 115 mile day. Telling her and her guide dog to wait outside for an extra hour in the winter rain/sleet/snow/cold because I need a charge….not going to happen.

In life, it's not who you know that's important, it's how your wife found out.
