I think you will get what you ordered wherever possible – if for whatever reason it becomes unavailable then I suspect they would offer alternatives – but that might mean a longer wait – Motability are having to wait in line like everyone else – I suspect some people maybe offered a different colour or spec to speed things up.
The situation is new for everyone so I’m sure Motability will be looking for ways to ease the process on a week to week basis.
I am very aware that the 9 mths I waited seemed a ridiculous time but know I realise I was actually fortunate to order when I did and get the spec and colour I wanted at a very good upfront price.
