Nah, why would i paint over the high quality, absolutely and definitely real carbon fibre that i paid big money for? That’d be a waste.
I also am a DIY kinda guy, so i took the three hours out of my day yesterday and fitted it all by myself. It’s perfectly aligned by eye, and carefully tested for aerodynamic benefit by blowing really hard at the front window while my wife checks the downforce at the spoiler.
It adds at least a lot. I could probably drive upside down in a tunnel at 40ish mph.
