Hm, must be a “hot” Golf thing then. I would’ve thought that it’s standard in all Golfs, considering it’s not actually a performance thing.

Sorry then, didn’t expect that. Stupid af, if you ask me, since lane assist is incredibly dangerous. I’ve almost driven the new Sportage off the road because i didn’t realise it was on and over-corrected after it flung me to the centre of the road.
Anything that directly interferes with the steering wheel without me knowing, wanting or asking for should be outlawed. If i activate travel assist or something, yeah fine – but not without asking, it makes it impossible to manoeuvre a car around here where you have to dodge big potholes at 50-60mph – if the steering wheel suddenly fights me when trying to get around them, i mean..
That’s absolutely one of the dumbest things to come out in cars, since ever.
