There are quite a few aggregators, Kia/Hyundai has one, Zap-pay is another as is Octopus Electric Juice. These all work in much the same way, add a few pence to the price of the charger you are at to cover the cost of the card and billing.
I don’t think its difficult at all, I have 5 or so cards: Kia Charge, Electric Juice, Shell Recharge, Charge place Scotland and BP Pulse. More than I need and very easy to use.
The straight payment options are also easy, Gridserve, Ionity, Instavolt are all contactless payment.
