I agree it is now expensive and share the same views and thoughts about many regarding this.
That said, unless you want to risk a purchase and the expenses they incur, you still cannot find a full maintenance lease/PCP with a 20000 mile allowance for anything near the same “price” as Motability.
I totally get that for many customers, particularly those who do not do many miles, it is now worth looking at other options. But for those who do a reasonable amount (myself included), I feel it is still worth it (I have done several comparisons for buying myself). Frustrating the scheme is not what it was, but not many things are at the moment, including the price of used cars.
