Original DS was launched in 1955. I actually remember seeing it then and thinking it looked like a spaceship. Still does. I know there were all sorts of issues with the mechanical bits; not least the engine(s) which were in general not powerful enough. But, to me, they are still the best-looking car ever made and I’d have one today, if I could afford all the expensive maintenance etc needed to keep a Goddess on the road.
