@jonny – Yes you do. The docking station stays in the car. It’s essentially 2 ramps, with 2 further ramps which the scooter is driven up (remotely I would add!) to load into the car. Once it is in place you might get a couple a suitcases wedged either side of the scooter, but that’s it!
On the subject of pushy companies I’ve also had a demo from Trilift:
A good idea – you don’t lose any space in the car. After the demo, the rep got out his paperwork and said “OK, I just need you to sign this and we can get the order processed immediately”
I sent him packing!
