    If you can manage with 2 seats, this scooter system is superb.

    If you do a quick google search there are videos of them being loaded into cars as small as a Renault Clio.

    You can normally find nearly new ones on ebay too at a reasonable price.

    Or If you are able to lift 10kg  the One Rehab Illusion is a full suspension scooter which breaks into parts weighing 10kg or less, and fits in most boots and is the way I’ve gone, with a Hyundai Kona EV on order.

    Speaking from personal experience hoists are not always the solution. You need to park on very flat ground and the scooter must be positioned in exactly the right position to load it back in.
