It is in the Bournemouth area. According to the local press many petrol stations are out of fuel and closed, including the two Sainsbury sites I usually use.
That’s the point I’m making though Wigwam. The press are highlighting those where there’s problems implying that it’s everywhere. The local press in Bristol are doing exactly the same. Reports of closures and shortages, cameras outside these petrol stations with queues or empty pumps etc. Yet I have several family members there who got worried on the back of these reports yet managed to fill up their cars with no issues at all. The tragedy is that the sensational media reporting will become self fulfilling. Problems that didn’t exist will now occur!
