Hi Rachel, just to let you know I have the 2.0 petrol in my 3 series and it’s a lovely engine. So smooth and quiet with reasonable fuel economy. Heats up much quicker than my old diesel BMW did which has led to better fuel economy over short journeys. I don’t think that I could go back to diesel again.
