Thank you for your replies, Joss and Wigwam. I guess I got a bit confused as the BMW saleswoman told me that as petrol is cheaper than diesel and as I’m doing mainly short, stop/start town driving, the fuel saving will be negligible. She also thought that the xdrive would be better for where I live.
Is she right to say that or is she telling me fibs? Ha ha!
