Cheers for the info, Wigwam. Wish I could get there but that is not going to happen. And, yes, POPS, quite a sight and sound. Aeroplanes of that vintage and size always seem to be flying more slowly than they are. Very stately. And the very serious song of those big radials (Wright Cyclones?). Only two of ’em though. Nowhere near as sky shattering as the Sunderland with four radials. Saw one take off from the Thames when I was a kid. Absolutely awesome. Probably main reason I became, and continue to be, interested in all things aviation.
