That seems to explain it perfectly, its a shame it doesnt have the sensor to stop it before it hits something tho. I found the X1 boot quite spacious too especially with the under floor extra which is something that i personally would of got a lot of use from.
Yes the under floor storage space is massive, almost like a second boot! It’s been a godsend for us, as I use the under floor space as a regular boot, leaving the main boot for my wife’s wheelchair. When I lift the wheelchair out I’m not dragging out other items with it, as I was with the Tiguan!
