Absolutely right Georgie, but I know why. Unlike us rebels, the vast majority of the British public is very conservative- with a small c- and there’s a risk that something radical will frighten them off. And you only have to see the sales of the BMW i3 to see what happens when they go radical. That design dates back to 2013 and still looks like an alien transporter and just capture the attention of the buying public.
It also why EV’s have grilles even though they have no purpose!
