Don’t think Mr Bryant will ever get his head sorted. Too much in it, for far too long. Lovely bit (for me) in London Bridge… is the use of The Lane, East Street market which runs between Old Kent Road and Walworth road in Sarf London. This is where I spent the first 16 years of my life. He gets it all right, too. He uses the pub called The Good Intent at the Walworth Road end of The Lane which is where my family used to hold weddings, wakes and all sorts of other family excuses for drinking, weeping, shouting and (sometimes) fighting. Fair rolled back the years it did; Fowler really knows how to touch a chord!
