ChrisK – They were laughing with me thank goodness, at first they didn’t know how to respond but because I was in fits of laughter and cracking jokes about it, they took their cue from me.
Better than one particular dealership that had a rant about people getting free cars and they didn’t deserve them the last time I was changing car, suffice to say they didn’t get my business but we did try them again this time, thought it was a different guy but as soon as he went into a very un PC rant, we realised it was actually the same guy but he had grown a beard and got a bit broader during lockdown…and yes, he was their Motability specialist!
fwippers – Agreed. Fine if you have 2-3k to drop on each advance payment but a nightmare if pennies are tight.
