Well done, Georgie. Only one way to get the NHS to do anything – make a bloody fuss, politely, of course. What you describe is almost exactly what happened to Mrs T over and over again! Letters allegedly posted, never arrive; scan results not forwarded to consultants etc. We found, like you, that the only avenue of comm’s the works is the consultant’s secretary/PA. Stick with it, kid.
PS Latest scan results took over six weeks to get to consultant; he’s had them two weeks and we’ve still heard zilch. Waiting for relevant secretary to come back from hols!
