George – One other thing. If you decide to go for the Tiguan I thoroughly recommend the Storm Grey two-tone interior. We have it on our current Tiguan (although we have the leather version of it) and you can now get it as a no cost option in cloth trim in the Elegance. It really does lift the interior from the oppressively dark and drab all black interior.
