Likewise, my new Peugeot 208 GT with the 131 bhp 3-cylinder turbo engine should be here within the next week or so in glorious Faro Yellow. The 208 is only a small (and light) car of course, but on my test drive with the above configuration it was certainly more than capable! The 8-speed automatic electronic gearbox shifted precisely – spot on infact – although there’s always the option to use the steering wheel paddles if you wish.
Certainly no gripes from me on the 1.2 engine or, for that matter, from other 208 GT owners with the 130 engine. It has won several awards in the recent past – and for very good reason.
