I wonder if this will continue the drive (sorry) or the continual lowering of the max age of used cars in the future.
We’ve seen for some time now the reduction in older cars as they break sooner or one expensive part fails & takes the car out and now with these tiny 3 cylinder turbo charged engines I wonder if they’ll get to a certain age/mileage & that’ll be it for the engine, Live fast die young so to speak.
There’s been anecdotes of some of these tiny turbos doing just that dying quickly so I wonder what that trend will mean for used longevity, assuming ice cars don’t just get banned outright anyway at some point
