A PHEV vehicle is not i believe like an ev and will only do around 30 miles,read this somewhere( not sure check this ) on a full charge so in your case not worth the vost of a home charger better with the id3 etc, free home charge,a must if you live rural, and good range, totally agree with Intrancity
