My experience with the X1 was sadly negative and we exchanged it for a Tucson after 7 months. We had a problem with a defective automatic gearbox, identified as a fault by the dealer who then tried to deny all knowledge of it. However, apart from this the car was good overall, the info system top notch but a bit too much wind and tyre noise.
That’s a shame fwippers. At least you were able to return the car. If I find the noise to be too problematic I might have to discover a fault! I hope that the Tucson has proved to be a suitable replacement.
