I would consider the 3008 300 Hybrid, it ticks most of your boxes, and is the only vehicle on the scheme I would consider swapping my Ateca for, Second choice probably the BMW, but the gap in quality between the one and three series is massive
I don’t like the interior of the 3008 Markw (the dash above the steering wheel just looks so wrong to me ?) and my wife detests anything French! Also, the 3008 PHEV doesn’t get great reviews against the Volvo or Ford equivalents, generally finishing below both. Apparently the transition from electric to petrol is a bit rough, in addition to other things that put me off. Watched a number of reviews and wasn’t convinced. Agree about the gap between the X1 and the 3 Series. I would have loved the 320i Touring but sadly it is no more and my wife ideally wants an SUV. If it miraculously comes back on in Q2 I will force her to have a look at it though!
