Quite aside from the *stunning design, there’s also the engineering: 3.0L V-12 engine straight out of Ferrari racing cars giving out 200bhp and propelling the panache-mobile to 135mph. Insignificant figures by today’s standards but for 1953 that must have been cutting edge.
