I dont know why people regard this car as premium, whatever that means, it’s really not.
I have no axe to grind on this moggy as I’ve never owned one, but Audi is most certainly a premium brand. Admittedly the Q3 is towards the lower end of the Audi range and doesn’t have anything like the same level of prestige as the bigger cars in their range, but the same is true of most premium brands. The X1 for example has quite a budget feel compared to models further up the BMW range, but it’s still a premium brand. Neither the Q3 or X1 will ever turn heads, but there’s no denying that the quality of fit, finish, engines, transmissions etc are in a different league to many other manufacturers, and that’s where the ‘premium’ tag comes from.
