I’ve had my S-Max diesel 180 Powershift 2.5 years now, its been brilliant, much better than the C4 Spacetourer I had previously, the 2.0 engine will make a big difference over the 1.5 in the 5008, I know, as it does for me. Drives much better and is much more comfortable. I recently spoke to my wife about our changeover and she said she wanted to keep the S-Max.
Fuel economy for me is about 5mpg worse though, I’ve averaged 41mpg over 40,000 miles. The 150hp engine should give another 1-2mpg. The Citroen averaged 48mpg, but, fully laden, it didn’t have the pep of the Ford.
