Hi All, Finally won the tribunal for my son and ordered his car, the car arrived at the dealership on Friday….my question is regarding the 4 day rule. If the car arrived on Friday when do they start and end the 4 days? I’m guessing that the release date would be Thursday which will be the first day of lockdown. I will obviously speak to the staff at the dealership tomorrow but wanted to ask your thoughts. Thank you.
As I have posted on the Coronavirus thread, info from a reliable source is that if a vehicle can be delivered before lockdown, the usual 4 day rule can be over-ruled without penalty to the dealer, in order to facilitate the handover before lockdown.
It really depends if the dealer can get the pdi/registration etc done in time.
