Corolla 2.0 GR Sport gone up nearly £300 AP to £2,345… so that’s off my list. VW Golf R-Line 1.5 stays the same at £999 so still on my list. Likewise, the Peugeot 208 GT Line stays the same at £849 AP. Looks like I’m down to a list of two for Q4 ordering with the 208 just about edging it.
Hi solent60. Just wondering why you wouldn’t have a Focus on that list. IMO a better drive than any of those.
Hi comfortablynumb.
I like the look of the new(ish) Focus & I know it supposed to be extremely good to drive. If I were to pick one – I’d opt for the 1.5 182 ecoboost automatic. But as Mike says, Ford claim 46 mpg but real world is only 33 mpg.
In contrast, the 1.2 208 GT Line 130 8-speed auto achieves well over 40 mpg real world & the new Golf R-Line 1.5 eTSI nearly 50 mpg… important factors for me to consider.
