I rang motability and checked re the DashCam. I was advised that it could be hardwired as long as it was done by the dealer prior to handover.
I bought the DashCam and hardwire kit and the dealers have fitted it for me.
Rhodgie – the fuse thing sounded odd to me, but I know nothing about wiring in DashCams so couldn’t argue!
I’ve also asked the dealer to check the vehicle firmwear is up to date and also software for the maps. I don’t think it had occurred to them to check.
