Much the same here, Georgie. Love the Penguin green-and-white paperbacks for Sayers. Have a complete set (I think) of Ngaio Marsh who is well underrated. Have you come across the “Bryant and May” series by Christopher Fowler? Very recent books, but in style, much like the classics. Most entertaining, great characters, very eccentric and laugh-out-loud in places.
