I too, have paid to have a dent taken out of a previous car, caused by a gate that opened at the exact moment I was reversing onto the drive. It was about the size of a closed fist. I waited until the car was due to go back then had it repaired like Daniel above. You couldn’t tell that there had been a dent it was fixed so well. I appreciate others may recommend claiming on insurance etc but each to their own.
