Had same issue with Skoda Superbs; effectively only one proper service over three years. Couple of “checks” in between to set oil, fluids and washer levels. Asked Motability about this and official position seems to be that unless you do a really high mileage, servicing can be less frequent. Personally, I reckon the opposite is true – low mileage. stop-start driving and short journeys will add more wear, dilute oil more etc.
