The car was ordered today and we are looking at October for delivery.  Yes, we did receive the £800 off the AP, which is great.

I sent an e mail to Motability regarding the Sat Nav and received the following reply:

Thank you for your email earlier today, regarding the Peugeot e-2008 Allure that you have recently ordered and the optional extras you were expecting to be included with it. I am sorry to hear that the information provided in the Peugeot brochure is different to that provided by the Motability Specialist at Days Peugeot Plasmarl and that Peugeot Customer Care were unable to assist you.

As a valued Customer, we take your concerns seriously and I hope to reassure that they have been logged under your Motability agreement for the reference of both ourselves and Days Peugeot Plasmarl.

The Peugeot e-2008 Allure with NAV is not available to order through the Motability Scheme as standard. This is because such a vehicle would alter the specification of the Peugeot 2008s that we have been able to introduce to the Scheme. If a Sat Nav is something that you would like to have fitted to your chosen car, then you may like to consider the possibility of having it fitted as an optional extra. Optional extras do not form part of your Motability agreement and are a separate agreement between yourself and your dealer. They are also added at your own discretion and the costs of which are covered at your own expense. Should you wish to discuss this further please call the Motability Specialist at Days Peugeot Plasmarl on 01792 616 000.

I hope my email finds you well today and although I appreciate that this will not be the answer you were hoping for, I trust it has offered you clarity on the options that are available to you at this time. I would also like to take this opportunity to wish you and your family well during this difficult and uncertain time.

Should you require any further assistance please call our Customer Services Department on 0300 456 4566 where one of my colleagues will be more than happy to help you. Alternatively, you are welcome to respond directly to my email.

I have replied to Motability with the following:

Thank you for getting back to me so quickly.

I understand what you are saying, but please could you explain why it is advertised as a free upgrade in the Peugeot Motability price list, if it is not a free upgrade?

The note is on page 13 on  https://media.ndp.awsmpsa.com/file/86/9/motability-customer-price-guide.114869.pdf

Copied from the Peugeot Motabilty Price List (as per above link):
‘ Customer Offer: NAV available on Allure at no additional Advance Payment’

Please have a look at the above link, to see what i am referring to.

This is not the normal retail price list, but is aimed at Motability customers.  So i do not understand why it is saying that Motability customers can have a free upgrade if they order the e-2008 Allure.  If this is not true, then how do you get the free upgrade?

I could order the e-2008 Allure Premium which does have the Sat Nav as part of the spec, but this will be another £200 AP.

The only difference between the Allure & Allure Premium is the Sat Nav.

Will wait to see their reply.
