If I were in the most vulnerable category and my lease was due for renewal I would be thinking very carefully about whether or not to renew. This category are likely to be in lockdown for the next six months to a year. Saving this money would put you in a good position to get a top car when you eventually renew or help pay for adaptations.
It makes no sense to pay for a car you don’t use.
