    They usually sight that the same part of the oil barrel used for diesel is the same as that used for heating oil and because of demand for heating makes diesel more expensive and more so during Winter.

    Of course it’s been a mild Winter in Europe so no big demand but as the producers and retails can get away with it they will screw at will.
