My son and daughter in law have taken the decision to keep their four children home from school and self educate them until Covid 19 is no longer a dire threat. They question “why if it isn’t safe to go to the doctor’s surgery and public places with more than a few people present is it still alright to go to a crowded school for six hours a day, five days a week?”
Schools are clearly being kept open to provide a nation wide ‘baby sitting’ service to protect the economy’s workforce availability for as long as possible.
Children can and have contracted Coronavirus although it’s effects should in most cases be minimal, but what about their parents and grandparents? Is a few more days of protecting the economy more important than possible life and death matters? I don’t think so Mr Johnson and co.
