Colkav, I had cause to use BMW’s Roadside Assistance soon after I took delivery of my X1. The rear lights failed. (Interestingly, the bulb warning system does not include the rear LED’s!).
I did not use the in car system (Breakdown Call via the IDrive) but called my dealer first who put me in touch with them. The roadside assistance arrived in about an hour which is on par with any other breakdown cover.
It could not be fixed there as the unit had failed. The fault was fixed within a couple of days.
? I will be remembered for nothing but had great fun doing it ?
