The Tiguan system doesn’t steer for you it just offers a little resistance if you try and change lanes without indicating above 40mph, the system comes into its own at night on unlit roads or in heavy rain, you can leave it on all the time if you want, it just makes long motorway drives more relaxing.
I like it but don’t rely on it.
As technology improves these systems will get better and better.
