Just be careful not to confuse the two technologies – there’s a big difference between lane departure systems which just warn you and those which actively affect the steering to keep you in lane. The former can be as little as a light or a beep to get your attention
Good point Colin and my bad. I didn’t read the original post correct. The BMW system is an alert only. It doesn’t actively steer the car.
