My daughter is an NHS nurse travelling around her patch home visiting and I’ve pointed her in the direction of the NHS scheme but I don’t now why but she prefers to drive her 10 year old Ford and just claim expenses. Maybe she seen the predicament we MB customers are in and the thought that she is relatively safe in her own car without outside interference.

The biggest difference she would see if her expenses would almost disappear.  Instead of a mileage rate that includes wear and tear plus extra insurance, she’ll get one that is only for fuel and could well fail to cover that.

As far as expenses are concerned, any Salary Sacrifice scheme that includes insurance is considered a company car, so if you get expenses it’ll be very different.  As @kezo states, the available information will cover everything in detail.
