ok i have pricedd up 20m cables and they arent as expensive as i thoght they would be. so i have sent 2 requests to the landlord to see if they will allow installation of an outside socket for granny charger and to see if they will allow a charger to be fitted. i realise i may have an issue with motability as they usually insist on offroad parking. either way a once a week overnight charge will work with my scheduled mileage.previously when i was persuing a driveway they did say they would allow the charger. going to try and bring forward the mg test drives tommorrow so at least ive tested all possibles. thanks again guys for the assist.
Its highly unlikely Ohme (Motability) will consider installng a charger, as they ereauire off road parking and confirm, as well as check and ask permission of the landlord.
Of caurse, there is the option of self funding a non tethered charger on the QT, but the costs will outweigh that of having a hybrid.
