I ordered mine in March and was told the delay would be til September for delivery. Got a call last week to pick it up yesterday. I assume the delay time, for me anyway, was quite conservative. Hopefully you touch lucky and get it in 3 months from ordering
June 29, 2025 at 12:00 pm #307381That’s awesome, I hope you are enjoying the car hopefully I won’t be waiting till September
June 29, 2025 at 5:05 pm #307393Give Hyundai customer service a call and they can tell you which ship your car will be on and you can track it. The dealer has less info about the car delivery than I managed to find myself.
if I use the online track my order on the Hyundai website my order says delayed until September too. However Hyundai told me my car is on the ship “Morning Lisa” which I can use various online marine trackers to see that it’s currently near Spain and due in the UK in about a week. (So definitely much sooner than September!)
June 30, 2025 at 11:55 am #307429I did manage to get a order number I gave the main Hyundai a email with my order number

I’ve spoken with our supply team, and they’ve advised that your vehicle’s production is expected to be completed by the end of this month. The current plan is to have it shipped by 15/07, with an estimated arrival at Tilbury on 02/09. Once the vehicle arrives at Tilbury, you can typically expect delivery within a few weeks. Which is good news

July 22, 2025 at 2:08 pm #310090They definitely are – they told me what ship our car is on, and the due in port date correlates with what the dealer has been told.

August 11, 2025 at 5:01 pm #311111Well a little update had a nice little video this morning of our car at the dealership so it’s arrived 3 weeks early to them, so just a long 4 week wait now
August 11, 2025 at 5:53 pm #311121Amazing news! I had a call today funny enough saying as long as nothing gets delayed I’ll have the car in 3 weeks!
August 12, 2025 at 12:42 pm #311155They probably err on the side of caution on shipping time. I used to order massive ship loads of steel from Japan (only place at the time to regularly ship cold rolled extra deep drawing steel) , we’d telex (gawd, I’m old) the ship once a week for an update, they’d send back lat & long, we’d look it up and track progress, I always remember a telex after a big storm in the Pacific, the ship was 450 miles behind where it had been the previous week, the storm forced it backwards halfway across the Pacific.
We couldn’t call the steel works, they shipped free on board, so once on the ship it was our product. If you did need to call, it was fun, a secretary answers phone in Japanese, I’d then say “Hello, I’d like to speak to Mr Kakagawa please” and they would instantly hang up without saying a word in any language.
Our production team (fire extinguishers ) were not happy to be told the ship was running 2 weeks late.
In life, it's not who you know that's important, it's how your wife found out.
August 19, 2025 at 1:33 pm #311571Car should be in tilbury either on the 20th or 21st of this month!
