I had a standard Enyaq for 3-4 days while mine was back at the dealers.  By the time I took it back I’d decided I wouldn’t pay for the Canton system on the next Skoda (if there is one).

Unfortunately mine only came as part of the £2035 Advanced pack “upgrade”, most of which I didn’t need, if fact the only thing I’d miss from it would be the HUD which I really like having.

I listen to what my daughter politely refers to as an “eclectic” assortment of music, currently Chappel Roan (which with me being an old dad she finds quite funny!) usually with the volume at somewhere between 3/4 and full, the system really isn’t massively loud.  I like a punchy bass, clean not muddy, the Enyaq door panels and trims vibrate quite a bit with the bass turned up which isn’t nice.

After living with it for 18months I’d describe it as “adequate” certainly not good or bad.  My music is now played via AA as the USB simply doesn’t work as it should, the earlier Enyaq I was given (3.7 firmware) played from USB properly, in that after you get out, next time you get back in it resumes at the point where it left off, with my 4.0 firmwear it doesn’t, it reverts to the 1st track in the list every time and you have to skip through multiple folders and tracks to get back to where you were, so now I don’t use it.  Choosing Media also doesn’t remember what you were using, it always goes straight to FM radio.

So, if I do end up going for another Skoda I won’t be spending the extra for the Canton or the all wheel drive that now only works below 20kph if it feels it needs to.  I would still like the HUD though 🙂

Please excuse spelling/typos. Apart from being a clot it turns out I had one on my cerebellum that's now causing various problems!
